User Terms, Conditions and Regulations

These terms and conditions represent a formal agreement (contract) between Makinti, a car engine import company, operating under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with commercial registration number 4031270480 and tax number, headquartered in Jeddah, and the service users.

By using the Makinti app, you fully agree to all the terms and policies in this contract. This agreement shall be deemed a legally binding electronic signature.

Terms and Conditions Policy:

Services Description

Makinati app offers a range of car services through authorized maintenance centers across all cities in Saudi Arabia. Currently, the services include:

  • Engine Replacement

  • Gearbox Replacement

  • Turbo Replacement

  • Mechanical Faults

  • Electrical Faults

  • Oil and Filter Change

  • Differential Transfer Replacement

  • Bodywork and Accident Repair

  • Air Conditioning System

  • Brake System

  • Differential Replacement

  • Chassis and Suspension

  • Periodic Maintenance

  • Corporate Contracts for Fleet Services

Service Terms

  • All services are carried out through maintenance centers officially accredited by Makinati.

  • An initial quotation is provided after inspection, and customer approval must be obtained before starting any work.

  • If additional faults appear during the work, the customer will be contacted for approval before proceeding.

  • Makinati reserves the right to decline providing the service at any time before the work begins, without obligation.

Vehicle Transportation & Repair

  • The vehicle may be moved between multiple service centers depending on the type of malfunction and availability of specialists.

  • The customer has no right to know the name of the workshop during the service process to preserve workflow and coordination quality.

  • The customer must receive the vehicle immediately after being notified of service completion. If delayed more than 3 days, Makinati reserves the right to remove the vehicle from the maintenance center without further notice and is fully exempt from any liability for subsequent damage, loss, or weather-related impact. No compensation or responsibility will be held by Makinati after this procedure.

Billing and Payment

  • The full amount must be paid before the vehicle is delivered, through the electronic payment methods approved in the app.

  • All invoices are issued in the name of 'Makinati' only, and the customer has no right to claim any invoices from any third party involved in providing the services (such as workshops or suppliers).

  • The customer can use the wallet balance inside the app to pay service fees only, and it is not used for labor costs or spare parts prices.

Warranty Policy

  • The warranty covers repairs performed exclusively through 'Makinati'.

  • The warranty does not cover faults resulting from misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.

  • If the customer requests repair of only part of the problem, the warranty applies solely to the part actually repaired.

Spare Parts and Returns

  • Prices or specifications of some replaced parts may vary due to suppliers or shipping conditions, without any liability on 'Makinati'.

  • All parts replaced during the service and classified as returns become the property of 'Makinati', and the customer has no right to claim them or any compensation. This is implicitly part of the service terms.

On-site Attendance and Tow Truck

  • When a tow truck is dispatched to the customer's location, the waiting time is between 10 to 15 minutes.

  • If the customer is not present or the vehicle is not ready upon arrival, the request is automatically canceled without refund of the paid service fee.

Customer Conduct and Communication

  • Direct contact with workshops or service providers for coordination outside 'Makinati' is prohibited, and any agreements made outside the platform are the customer's personal responsibility.

  • If the customer delays responding to the support team for more than 3 days regarding approval of repair or payment, Makinati reserves the right to temporarily suspend the service or return the vehicle as deemed appropriate, without any liability.

Protection and Accessories Inside the Vehicle

  • The customer is responsible for notifying if there are any sensitive accessories inside the car (such as nano ceramic coating, child seats, sensitive accessories).

  • The customer must inform customer service before the appointment.

  • Makinati is not responsible for damage or loss of these accessories if prior notice was not given.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • The service can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • If canceled on the same day, 100% of the service fee will be deducted as a penalty.

  • If the canceled service includes vehicle towing and the cancellation is made more than 24 hours before, the refund will be credited as wallet balance inside the app for later use.

  • Refunds are processed within 10 to 45 business days depending on the bank's policy and payment method.

Applicable Laws and Regulations

These terms and conditions are subject to the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including but not limited to:

  • E-Commerce Law

  • Anti-Cybercrime Law

  • Consumer Protection Law

  • Personal Data Protection Law

  • Any legal dispute shall be referred to the competent judicial authorities in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Consent

  • By using the Makinati app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and fully agreed to the terms and conditions. You realize that continuing to use the app constitutes a formal and binding consent to all stated terms. Makinati reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice, and such modifications become effective immediately upon publication.
